It had been a couple of weeks since she had come back from her trip to the Wastelands to find Cole. A couple of weeks since she had been forced to face the fact that she had lost not only their baby -- but she had lost him as well. It didn't matter how many trips she took to the Wastelands and ran away from the beasts there... Cole was just nowhere to be found. She had failed to save him this time.

She forced herself to get up out of the bed and go to her computer. She opened up her e-mail and started typing.
