Eveything was quiet at 44 Blueberry Hill.

After Phoebe had woken up in the wee hours of the morning crying for no reason, the boys had managed to calm her fears and ease her back to sleep. The plan was to stay in bed until at least noon -- and perhaps insist Phoebe rest longer.

Plans are obviously made to be broken.

"Hey," Sam said mildly, and a yawn interrupted him before he could go on. "Cut your not-dad some slack, 'kay? I just woke up. Alternate dimensions are weirder when you're not awake yet."

. . . yeah, he was going to leave the fielding of that question to Phoebe.

Cole rubbed his temple. "This wasn't how I imagined waking up today," he sighed.
