Phoebe was tired of being cooped up and feeling a little restless. She couldn't seem to get comfortable and her emotions and hormones were slightly frayed.

Ok, more than slightly.

After some wheedling, begging and threatening, the boys had helped Phoebe get settled on the front porch swing.

She was, of course, wearing a jacket and there was a blanket nearby in case she got chilled. There was also a pitcher of Lavender Jasmine tea on the table next to her as well as her laptop and a selection of trashy novels.

Lana smiled at her. "How are you - and the little ones- doing?" she asked gently.

She extended her hand for Lana to come sit with her.

"I'm tired and the twins are active."

Lana came up and sat beside her. "I can imagine. Not too much longer now, huh?"

"December."

"Less than two months then," Lana said with a gentle smile. "You guys must be so excited."

Phoebe nodded. "And scared."

Lana nodded. "Yeah, I can imagine. Everything will change. But you guys are going to do great. You're going to be a wonderful mother, Phoebe."

"That's not what I'm afraid of, Lana," she said softly.

Lana frowned. "Then what are you afraid of?" she asked.

"The Seer."

"The Seer?" Lana said, not understanding.

Phoebe looked down. "Like the one that took my son."

"Oh, Phoebe," Lana said, looking stricken. "I'm sorry. But there's so many people here to protect them this time."

"I haven't told the boys I'm scared. They... they're protective as it is."

Lana nodded. "I can understand that," she said. "But if the Seer is a threat again, shouldn't they know so they can be prepared?"

She reached for Lana's hand. "I don't know that she is... but I'm scared, anyway."

Lana squeezed her hand. "You're not alone, Phoebe. There's a lot of people here to protect you all this time."

She nodded. "I know that... but the fear won't go away."

Lana nodded. "I understand that completely. Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Don't disappear on me?"

Lana shrugged. "I don't have anywhere to go."

"I heard..." Phoebe faltered, not knowing how to say it.

"What?" Lana asked. "You can tell me anything, ask me anything. You know that."

Phoebe took a breath.

"What happened? I heard that something happened and you were upset... but no details."

Lana looked off into the distance. "Oh, Phoebe... I... I couldn't talk to anyone about it. And then when I could it seemed too... I didn't want to upset you and the babies. Sam said he'd tell you when he thought the time was okay."

She let out a long breath. "Jim... Jim's dead, Phoebe."
