Once more, Phoebe had begged wheedled cried decided that she wanted to sit outside. She was too restless and the air outside had relaxed her last time where she was able to sleep for a little bit. The boys made sure everything was in their state of clean and safe before settling her out on the porch swing.

There was tea on the table beside her, as well as a blanket over her feet, and she was reading some sort of trashy novel Cole had gotten for her.

"Awesome. That only for chicks?"

She shook her head. "No, you can invite anyone you like."

Dean took that statement literally. Clearly, Phoebe was asking him to organize this party.

Well, why not? He was the best man for the job!

"Probably wanna do it soon, so you know what stuff you've got and what you still need to get before the kids get here."

Phoebe nodded. "That's a good point. It'll make prep after they're born a lot easier."

"Heck yeah. Plus, never know if they're gonna wanna pop out early." Dean ran a hand through his hair, already thinking over the possibilities. Halloween was over, so that theme would be pretty much done with, but there was Day of the Dead -- no, wait, also over. He hid a wince. Saints' Day was out, too. Wasn't the fifth of November something? Or the 11th. Veterans' Day. His dad never let him forget that one. And some kind of rememberance thing overseas -- he'd run into a ghost that was connected to that outside of Atlanta.

That'd put the party next week. Short notice, but doable. . . .

"You should keep the hubbies out of it, though. I remember Mom made me and Dad leave for Sammy's."

"Yeah. Anders and Cole are frazzled enough without having to worry about a party too."

"Could have it at Azzie's old place. That way you don't have to worry about cleaning up." Plus, Dean was pretty sure the old wards and stuff were probably still up, which couldn't be anything but good.

"Oh yeah, that would work. And I still have the key he and James gave me so I could go there and be alone if I needed to."

"Awesome. I'm pretty sure Lana's got one, too." He blinked. "Geez, she's gonna end up owning half this town, isn't she."

Phoebe laughed. "That's not a bad thing."

"Well, not yet. But just wait until all that power goes to her head."

"That would never happen with Lana," Phoebe said firmly. She believed it, too.

Dean shrugged. "Hopefully we'll never have to find out. So . . . how's November 11th sound to you?"

"We won't because that's not Lana," she repeated again.

"November 11th? It sounds fine."

"Okay. I'll check with Lana on getting Azzie's house and get the invites set up."

"Sounds like you've got a workable plan, then."

Well, as much of one he could have with no idea how to run a baby shower, anyway.
