Saturday Afternoon, 44 Blueberry Hill

Phoebe was sitting on the bed of the larger of the three extra bedrooms in the house.

She also had a notebook with her that she was jotting notes down on.

She knew the boys were all excited about turning one of the bedrooms into a nursery and she had decided she wanted this one to be the nursery. It was a large room -- and it was right next to their bedroom. It also helped that the room was large enough to fit any amount of baby stuff in -- she knew her husband and boyfriend very well -- and so could the current bed. After all, there would probably be some nights that the baby wouldn't sleep and she'd to be with her without waking up the guys.

She had to admit that she was feeling a lot better about things now that the guys knew about the baby. It didn't stop her from worrying, but it had made her a little more relaxed.

Of course, the notebook might call into question her relaxation since she had started making notes on things that needed to happen weekly and monthly before the baby arrived.

Phoebe was still standing on the bed. "No knocking down of walls, agreed?"

Sam's shoulders sagged just a bit. "Okay," he said reluctantly. "But the window seat's still okay, right?"

"No knocking down walls," Cole agreed. But that didn't rule out a doorway necessarily.

"The window seat is a very good idea." She dropped back down to the bed with a bounce.

Sam gave Cole another nervous glance, and he got the feeling they might have to watch themselves for the next eight months or so -- which was why, even though he was thinking about that doorway loophole himself, he didn't say anything about it.

"I can start on that tomorrow then," he said as he fumbled the notepad open to a blank page and started to scribble. "Let's see, smoke detectors . . . stuff for the window seat . . . we're gonna need to pick out paint and stuff, too, gods, what am I missing?"

"I need an estimate of when you think we'll have the room painted and re-carpeted," Cole said. "So I can set a date for the furniture delivery.

Phoebe's lower lip trembled a little.

"I can tell you both what you're forgeting or missing," she said quietly.

"Shouldn't take us more than a m --" Sam's attention snapped to Phoebe when he heard her, as well as felt the twinge along the bond. "What is it, love?"

"What's wrong, sweetheart?" Cole said, moving quickly to Phoebe's side.

"Me." She gave them both a sad look. Hormones for the win. "You guys have been spending so much time making plans..."

"For our baby, yeah," Sam said, not quite understanding yet although he did drift over toward her. "We're not leaving you out or anything . . ."

"We're right here, love," Cole said, putting his arm around her shoulders.

"All planning and hands-off makes Phoebe a lonely witch."

"Babe . . ." Sam stretched out on the bed behind her, curling up against her back. "We're not trying to ignore you."

Cole nuzzled at Phoebe's neck. "We just want everything to be perfect for you," he said.

"I know you guys want everything to be perfect... but right now? I kind of need to..." She bit her lip. "I need to be held and stuff, you know?"

She wasn't sure they did know since she didn't understand why she was feeling so needy and clingy right now.

"Just feels like everything is ging on around me... without me."

Sam ran his fingers down Phoebe's spine. "Didn't mean to make you feel that way," he said softly. "Have we really been planning stuff out without you?"

"I . . . never showed you the furniture for your approval, did I?" Cole said, wincing.

Phoebe nodded. "You guys are talking about furniture arriving and sports stuff and what you're going to do for the nursery... and I have absolutely no idea what you guys are talking about or what is happening." She bit her lip. "It's kind of like I told you we were having a baby and then my part in all of this was pushed to the side. I'm carrying the baby and therefore that's all I'm involved in right now." She shrugged. "I know you guys aren't trying to leave me out... but you kind of are."

"Aw, babe," Sam said, a guilty look crossing his face as he glanced up at Cole. "I swear that's never what we meant to do. We just got all caught up in the excitement and . . ."

"No, no, sweetheart," Cole said, looking guilty as well. "I'm sorry, we never meant to do that."

"I said I knew you guys weren't trying to."

"Didn't think about the fact that you might feel that way," Sam said. "I'm sorry. Look, why don't we talk about it now? We can snuggle right here and talk about everything, maybe?"

"Want to see what I thought we should get for the nursery?" Cole said. "If you like it and think it's okay?"

Phoebe nodded. "I'd really like that."
