Phoebe was a stressed wreck. Cole and Anders kept trying to get her to sit and rest, but there was no way she could.

Piper was missing!

Paige and Savannah had come over last night and told her that Piper was missing. They had searched the house, the Coven and every other place they could think of to look, but there had been no sign of her sister.

"We have to figure out what happened," Phoebe told the group as she reached for the Book of Shadows. "We have to find --" As her hands closed around the book, Phoebe gasped, her body tensing.



She and Paige... someone appearing... demon... she starts a vanquish spell, but he uses powers like Paige's... takes the Book of Shadows away from her... fireball hitting Paige... "You have Piper to thank for this"... fireball hitting her... killing them... demon and Book of Shadows disappearing...



Phoebe came out of the premonition with a shocked cry.

"Phoebe?" Cole said, swooping to her side to steady her.

Phoebe leaned against Cole, her face white as she looked at Paige. "I just saw a demon kill us -- kill me and Paige."

Cole tensed. "Not gonna happen," he growled. "Who was it? Did you recognize him?"

Phoebe was shaken, but she swallowed. "He took the Book from me..." She took a deep breath, trying to calm down. "Let me see if I can find him in the Book Of Shadows." She sat down on the couch and started flipping through pages.

Sam had been across the room, pacing, trying to calm himself down so his own agitation didn't set off Phoebe's empathy any worse than it already, inevitably, would.

He finally crossed the floor to drop onto the couch on Phoebe's other side, resting a hand on her knee. "No one is killing you," he said, voice brittle with tension and stubbornness.

Savannah was frowning. "No one is hurting Paige!"

"No one is getting hurt at all," Cole said, hand resting protectively on her shoulder as she flipped through the Book.

"Way too many stubborn people in this room for that," Sam said, forcing a brief chuckle.

Savannah was a little flaily. "I have been kidnapped, cut into like a piece of meat and now my guardian has been kidnapped." Her eyes narrowed. "I draw the line now. Paige is not getting hurt. Phoebe is not getting hurt. We are going to find whoever took Piper and make them wish they had never been born."

Veronica knocked on the door, extremely worried about her friend after watching Cole's broadcast.

"Come in!" Phoebe called from the couch as she watched the boys "discuss".

"What can I do to help?" Veronica asked, walking into the house. "Also? Stop inviting people in without knowing who they are. You should know better, Phoebe."

Phoebe rolled her eyes. "Three witches, a demon and a man who can use a gun. Who do I have to be afraid of in this town when these guys are here with me?" She sighed. "Besides the fact that Aziraphale warded the house against harmful beings before he left?"

She ran a hand through her hair. "We think we know who took her... and Cole mistakenly thought he was going to the Underworld alone."

"Still, you owe it to those babies to be more careful," Veronica admonished. "Who has her? What can I do to help get her back?"

Phoebe rubbed her head. "Anders and Cole are going to the Underworld. Apparently, I'm not allowed to go after my sister."

"No, you're not," Veronica said. "I'll go. Hell, we'll round up a damn army. But you are staying put."

It was a little gratifying to be able to say the same things to someone else that she had heard non-stop from Dick, Logan and Angel when she was pregnant.

"You are not going," Cole said, catching Veronica's remark.

After the three witches were left alone, Phoebe looked at Paige and Savannah. Holding the Book of Shadows close, she turned and started for the steps.

"Follow me."

Savannah walked with them. "There has to be something we can do to help Piper."

"I saw something in the Book that could help us," Phoebe said as she led them into the attic. There was a low table in the middle of the floor, and that was where Phoebe put the book. "It's a spell," she said, gathering ingredients. "But... it's a spell that will send you into someone's mind."

Paige frowned. "I don't know if you should try that. What if it's dangerous?"

She really didn't want to piss off Cole or Sam.

Savannah looked at Phoebe. "Piper would be pissed if something happened to you or the twins because of a spell like that."

Phoebe sighed. "I'm pregnant, not an invalid." She was silent for a moment. She didn't want to scare Cole or Anders... and Savannah was right. Piper would be pissed.

"So, what if I do the prep work and the two of you say the actual spell?"

"I know you're not an invalid," Paige said. "But I'd rather if your husband didn't flambe me."

She glanced at her roommate. "I think we can handle it."
