Phoebe was still upset about yesterday and therefore hadn't slept much. Thankfully, the boys were used to her being more and more restless and uncomfortable as the due date for the twins got closer.

She had finally gave up on sleeping, and had gone downstairs. After making some tea in hopes that it would calm her down and relax her, Phoebe drifted outside to her favorite spot on the front porch swing. In addition to her usual blanket and book, she also had a notebook for trying to come up with a stronger spell of protection to put on the house. She wasn't taking any chances after what that blonde woman had said to her.

She also had a few athames with her.

Cole came out and sat down beside her on the swing. "What's wrong?" he said, putting his arm around her. "I've been getting weird feelings from you and Sam since yesterday."

Phoebe moved closer to him and was quiet for a moment. "I think I met a Seer yesterday, Cole."

Cole stiffened, his grip tightening. "A Seer? The Seer?"

"I don't know if it was The Seer with a different face... but the things she said..."

"What did she say?" Cole said as he felt a chill in his heart. No way was he going to let the Seer or anyone else rob him of another child.

It wasn't until a bit later that Sam made his way out onto the porch. His hair was a disaster zone and that wasn't news, but his eyes were bloodshot, he looked miserable and penitent, and he stood there quietly in the doorway, not saying anything just yet.

"Are you okay?" Cole said, looking him over. "What's going on?"

Sam looked up at him and, without another word, immediately moved over to hold onto him and Phoebe with no apparent intention of ever letting go.

Phoebe was confused, but wondered if the Seer peson had found him and she held on.

"No one," Sam said hoarsely, "is taking me away from you guys, I promise."

Well, that would answer that question.

"Hey," Sean greeted as he made his way next door. "What're you doing?" He tilted his head as he leaned against the porch railing.

"Hey Sean," Phoebe said with a smile. "I'm working on a spell."

That got his interest. "Any particular kind?"

"Protection spell."

Late in the afternoon, going on evening, Connor guided his steps past the house, just in case Phoebe was out.

"Hey Connor!"

Success! "Hey." he smiled, though it wasn't a big smile. "How was your weekend?"

"Stressful. Yours?"

"Half and half. My mother came to visit, which was really cool, except for the fact that there's people here who know her as evil. And then of course my Dad showed up, probably with plans to have me committed."

Patty was nervous about seeing all her girls, but the nerves that hit as she approached Phoebe's house were just a little bit more than they would been for anyone else.

The feelings Phoebe felt with her empathy were a bit strange to her and she looked up from the notebook to see who was near. When she saw her mother... her face went white as she stood up.

"You look so beautiful, sweetheart," Patty said softly, coming to stand directly in front of the porch.

"M-Mom?"

"Yep." Patty nodded. "It's me, Phoebe. I promise."
