Phoebe was still upset about yesterday and therefore hadn't slept much. Thankfully, the boys were used to her being more and more restless and uncomfortable as the due date for the twins got closer.

She had finally gave up on sleeping, and had gone downstairs. After making some tea in hopes that it would calm her down and relax her, Phoebe drifted outside to her favorite spot on the front porch swing. In addition to her usual blanket and book, she also had a notebook for trying to come up with a stronger spell of protection to put on the house. She wasn't taking any chances after what that blonde woman had said to her.

She also had a few athames with her.

"Stressful. Yours?"

"Half and half. My mother came to visit, which was really cool, except for the fact that there's people here who know her as evil. And then of course my Dad showed up, probably with plans to have me committed."

Phoebe smiled faintly. "There was a version of your mom that did some things that hurt a lot of us deeply, Connor. However, if you say she's not eveil any longer, you know I believe you. Everyone deserves a second chance if they really want redemption."

Phoebe's eyes darkened slightly. "I met him..."

"Oh I know all about how evil she was before." Connor assured her. "Holtz saw to that. I'm sure not gonna be judging her of course. But she really seems to be doing well on the not evil front." He took a deep breath. "She did convince Dad, er, Mr. Reilly that I was telling the truth. When I told them a few weeks ago, it didn't go very well."

"So I got that impression," Phoebe said dryly. "If it had come to it, I would have done my best to explain to him that I could tell for a fact that you were telling the truth -- and that you weren't crazy."

"I appreciate that. But, even then, when he found out it was the truth, he, didn't take it very well. I guess I can't blame him."

"Yeah I know. It's just, even though I know my memories as a Reilly aren't real, I still love them as if they were my real family."
